Accessibility Statement
Status Hair Studio is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every guest — online and in-studio — deserves a seamless, respectful experience.
Conformance status
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to address known issues.
Measures we take
Status Hair Studio takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:
- Accessibility is included in our internal review process for all design and content updates.
- The site is built with semantic HTML, descriptive image alt text, keyboard-navigable interactive elements, and a visible keyboard focus indicator.
- Video testimonials are accompanied by text transcripts.
- We respect the operating-system "Reduce Motion" preference and pause animation for users who request it.
- We periodically test the site against automated accessibility scanners and with screen-reader software (NVDA and VoiceOver).
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content on this site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Video testimonials currently provide summary transcripts. Full verbatim transcripts and audio descriptions are available on request.
- The online booking system is hosted by a third party (Mangomint). We do not control its accessibility, but we provide alternative ways to book by phone.

Assessment and remediation log
This website was last assessed for accessibility on May 21, 2026. Assessment included a combination of automated scanning (axe-core, Lighthouse) and manual review of keyboard navigation, semantic structure, contrast ratios, and screen-reader compatibility. We maintain an internal remediation log documenting findings and corrective actions, and we plan to re-assess at least once every six months.
Formal complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice or file a complaint under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Information on the complaint process is available at ada.gov/file-a-complaint (opens in a new window).
